Tool Shop is what
happens when landscapers
build the software.

Five service lines, all battle-tested inside our own landscape and outdoor-living company before we shipped them to clients. We don't do general construction, plumbing, HVAC, or roofing — we do the trade we know cold.

01

Websites

High-fidelity landscape and outdoor-living sites built to the $80K agency standard. Next.js, GSAP, real typography, real motion. Built to book site visits, not just look pretty.

  • Custom design — no Wix templates, no theme rentals
  • Project galleries, cost-guide calculators, online booking
  • Local SEO + schema + Core Web Vitals tuned for service-area searches
  • Hosted on Netlify or Vercel, deploys on git push
From $10K build · $150–1,200/mo care

CRM

Productized from our own landscape company, deployed and trained for you. Mobile-first, built around the way landscape jobs actually move — site visit → quote → deposit → install → callback. Limited beta, we onboard each contractor personally.

  • Site visit → quote → deposit → job, all in one timeline
  • Foreman AI: drafts replies, books visits, chases stale quotes (you approve)
  • Stripe deposits + QuickBooks export
  • Telegram bot for the field crew
From $3K setup · $149–799/mo · Limited beta

  • Your supplier pricing wired in (Carr, Brock, Permacon, Unilock, or yours)
  • Built on the same DeckCraft / HardCraft / SRW math as our free tools
  • Editable proposal: swap a paver, change a labor rate, totals re-calc instantly
  • Branded PDF export — your logo, your signature, your terms

Marketing

Local SEO, Google Business Profile, paid ads, content, reviews — focused entirely on landscape and outdoor-living lead generation. We track leads to closed jobs, not vanity metrics. Same playbook we run for Golden Maple.

  • Google Business Profile + review-request workflow for landscape clients
  • Local SEO: city × service landing pages ("paver patios in Aurora") that actually rank
  • Google Ads / Meta Ads management — monthly review + tune
  • Project-photo content + email written by people who've held a shovel
$750–3,500/mo retainers · 90-day minimum

Ops Tooling

Bespoke calculators, crew portals, integration bridges, admin panels for landscape crews. The stuff no SaaS platform will bend to do. Fixed-bid pricing, scoped before we start.

  • Custom material/labor calculators (paver, SRW, plant takeoff — branded for you)
  • Crew dispatch boards, time tracking, jobsite check-ins for field teams
  • Bridge any two systems (CRM ↔ QuickBooks ↔ Mailchimp ↔ supplier APIs)
  • Internal admin panels for the office team
Fixed-bid · $2K–$20K

How we deliver

Not self-serve.
That's the point.

Every contractor's setup is different — different suppliers, labor rates, proposal voice, customer base. Generic SaaS wizards can't handle that. So we don't pretend to.

01

Discovery call (free)

30 minutes. We map what you've got — site, CRM, suppliers, pain points. You leave with an honest scope and a fixed price. If we're not a fit we'll point you at someone who is.

02

Build, with you in the loop

Weekly check-ins, working preview from week one. You see drafts, suppliers wired in, voice training, real material — not a black box for two months.

03

Live training + ongoing care

We train you (and your team) on the tools we shipped. Then you have a person on email — real human reply within one business day, no chatbot wall.

Common questions

The stuff every
contractor asks first.

Do I have to take all five services?

+

No. Most clients start with one — usually a website or the AI Estimator — and add others as they see the workflow click. Each service stands on its own and integrates with the others if you add them later.

Are you an agency or a software company?

+

Both, neither, depends who's asking. We're a landscaping company that built our own software stack and decided to license it to other contractors. The products (CRM, AI Estimator, calculators) are productized. The custom work (websites, ops tooling, marketing retainers) is bespoke. Same team, same standard.

How is this different from LMN / Aspire / SingleOps / Service Autopilot?

+

Those are vertical SaaS giants — feature-stuffed and priced for 30+ crew operations. We're built for solo and small-crew landscape and outdoor-living contractors ($250K–$1.5M/yr) who don't need a 200-feature platform — they need a few things working really well. Pricing reflects that: $149–799/mo CRM tier vs. their $300+/mo per-user entry pricing.

What's the engagement model?

+

Fixed-bid for build work (websites, ops tooling). Monthly retainer for ongoing care (marketing, hosting, support). Usage-based subscription for products (CRM, AI Estimator). No long-term contracts on the SaaS — cancel any month.

Will you work with my existing CRM / website / tools?

+

Yes — we integrate before we replace. If your existing system is fine, we'll build around it. We've built adapters for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Close, Copper, Keap, Freshsales, and Dynamics 365, but we're still validating each on real customer data — so on the discovery call we'll be straight about which are battle-tested vs early-access. If you bring a stack we haven't touched, we scope an integration build separately.

Where are you based?

+

Barrie, Ontario. Most clients are in southern Ontario, but the SaaS products and remote builds work anywhere in North America. On-site visits within ~2 hours of the GTA.
